App StoreSell your app.
Or grow it
together.
We’re actively looking to buy iOS and Android apps and partner with founders. Talk directly with NaviStack about an acquisition, seller financing or a plan to grow the business together.
Deal models
An exit. A partner.
Or a plan between the two.
Start with what you want to change. We can shape the structure around it.
01 / Sell outright
A defined exit and a clear handover.
Agree a purchase price for the app and the assets included in the sale. A cash-at-closing purchase depends on available funding and the outcome of our review.
- Your role
- You transfer the agreed assets and help with a defined transition.
- Agree upfront
- Price, proof of funding, assets, liabilities, transfer conditions and the length of your handover.
02 / Seller financing
An agreed price, paid over time.
Transfer ownership at closing and receive some or all of the purchase price through an agreed payment plan. This is financing you extend to the buyer.
- Your role
- You become a creditor for the unpaid price. A fixed debt can remain due even if the app earns less.
- Agree upfront
- Upfront payment, interest, instalments, maturity, reporting, security and what happens if payments stop.
03 / Growth partnership
Keep the app. Share in the work ahead.
Work with us on an agreed mix of product and growth activities, with compensation tied to defined revenue or profit. The partnership can continue without a sale.
- Your role
- You retain ownership and agree which decisions and tasks we take on.
- Agree upfront
- Scope, baseline, revenue or profit definition, costs, spending authority, reporting, duration and termination. A revenue share does not itself create equity.
04 / Operate, then acquire
Work together before a full handover.
Start with a defined operating period and an option to buy, with the purchase terms agreed before work begins.
- Your role
- You keep ownership during the trial and agree our operating authority.
- Agree upfront
- Scope, budget, fees, option price, expiry and how either side can end the arrangement. Any eventual purchase still needs an agreed funding plan.
05 / Earn equity through work
Turn agreed contributions into ownership.
We contribute defined product or growth work in exchange for an ownership interest that vests as agreed milestones are met.
- Your role
- You remain involved as an owner, with responsibilities and decision rights set out together.
- Agree upfront
- The entity or interest being transferred, milestones, vesting, voting rights, dilution, IP, operating costs and what happens if someone leaves.
06 / Partial exit
Sell a stake. Stay part of the story.
Discuss selling an agreed ownership interest while retaining a stake in the business. It can give you a partner and a partial exit while leaving future upside shared.
- Your role
- You remain a co-owner. Your operating involvement is agreed separately from the stake you retain.
- Agree upfront
- Price and funding, ownership structure, control, distributions, reporting and any rights to buy or sell the remaining stake.
07 / Performance earnout
Make part of the price depend on results.
Combine an agreed base price with additional consideration if the app meets defined results after the acquisition. This can help when we see future value differently.
- Your role
- You receive conditional upside under the purchase agreement; it does not necessarily mean keeping equity.
- Agree upfront
- Base-price funding, performance measure, accounting rules, period, payment cap, reporting and a process for resolving disagreements.
08 / License a market
Open a new market together.
Consider licensing defined rights to commercialize the app in a particular territory or channel, while you retain the underlying intellectual property.
- Your role
- You remain the IP owner and agree how development, updates and support are handled.
- Agree upfront
- Territory, channel, exclusivity, fees or royalties, brand and data rights, platform requirements, costs and termination. A license does not guarantee store approval.
These are possible structures, subject to fit, due diligence and agreed terms.
What we look for
in a mobile app.
We look for mobile apps with a clear purpose and an owner ready to discuss what comes next.
- A working product
- An app people can use, with a clear handover of code and assets.
- A picture of the business
- Revenue, costs, traffic and the time it takes to run the app.
- A reason to work together
- More distribution, product development or less day-to-day work for you.
From a conversation to a clear plan.
- 01
Share the basics
Send your app link, a short overview and what you want next.
- 02
Review the fit
We discuss the numbers, product, responsibilities and possible structure.
- 03
Agree the next step
Set the scope, economics and handover in writing before work begins.
Before you
sell your app.
Can I sell my iOS or Android app to NaviStack?
We’re interested in discussing existing apps on the App Store and Google Play. Send the store link, a short business overview and what you want from a sale or partnership. We review the product and business before deciding whether to explore a deal.
How much is my app worth?
We would review earnings after operating costs, revenue trends, retention, where users come from and the work needed to run the app. Price also depends on the assets included and the payment structure. Our calculator lets you compare assumptions; it is not an appraisal or an offer.
Explore the app valuation calculatorWhat should I prepare before selling my app?
Start with your store link, monthly revenue and costs, user and retention figures, your weekly workload and your preferred outcome. For a deeper review, prepare evidence behind those numbers and an inventory of code, accounts, services and assets that would need to transfer.
Read the app acquisition due diligence guideDo I have to sell the whole app?
No. We can discuss a full acquisition, a partial ownership transfer or a partnership where you retain ownership. The right structure depends on your goals, the app and what each side can contribute.
Can we start with a partnership?
Yes, we can explore a defined operating or growth engagement first. If a later acquisition is part of the plan, we should agree the option, price or pricing formula, timing and funding before substantial work begins.
Is an all-cash offer guaranteed?
No. Any offer depends on the app, due diligence and available funding. We can consider deferred payments and partnership structures, but neither an inquiry nor a conversation guarantees an offer.
How is this different from a marketplace listing?
This page starts a direct conversation with NaviStack as a potential buyer or operating partner. It does not create a public listing. Our marketplace has a separate listing flow if that is what you want.
