Privacy Policy

Privacy by default

The app does not require an account. Your cases, schedules, parenting-time records, notes, handoff details, expenses, and attachments are stored on your device. Core calendar, record, total, and export features work without a network connection.

We do not sell personal information, show advertising, use advertising SDKs, track you across apps or websites, collect precise location, or use the microphone or call recording.

Information you choose to store

You may enter nicknames or initials, schedules, handoff locations as typed text, notes, expense records, and attachments such as receipts. This content remains on your device unless you export it or enable iCloud sync or household sharing.

Calendar access is used only when you choose to create a separate Apple Calendar for custody events. Notification permission is requested only when you enable a reminder. Face ID or Touch ID is processed by iOS; the app does not receive or store biometric data.

iCloud sync and sharing

If you enable iCloud, Apple CloudKit stores the selected case data in your private iCloud database. If you accept or create a household share, the people you authorize can access the shared case through Apple's CloudKit sharing system. Apple processes this data under your Apple Account and its own privacy terms. NaviStack does not receive a readable copy of your CloudKit case content.

Subscriptions and household entitlement service

Apple processes subscription purchases. To validate Pro access for a shared household, the app sends an Apple-signed transaction, random case and member identifiers, and a random installation identifier to a NaviStack service hosted by Cloudflare. The service stores the product, subscription status and expiration, Apple original transaction identifier, and cryptographic hashes of installation and access credentials. It does not receive child names, schedules, notes, locations, expenses, attachments, or exported files.

This limited information is used only to validate a subscription, issue and revoke household access, prevent abuse, and respond to Apple App Store Server Notifications. It is not used for advertising or profiling.

Diagnostics and analytics

The shipping app does not send product analytics to NaviStack or a third-party analytics vendor. Coarse product events are written only to Apple's privacy-aware unified log on the device. Apple may provide aggregated App Store diagnostics if you have chosen to share diagnostics with developers in iOS Settings.

Retention, deletion, and security

You can export or delete local data from Settings → Privacy and data. If iCloud is enabled, remove the remote copy from Settings → iCloud sync. Removing a household member revokes that member's server credential. Deleting app data does not cancel an Apple subscription.

Subscription-validation records are retained while needed to provide and secure household access and for a reasonable period afterward for fraud, dispute, and legal-compliance purposes. You may request deletion by contacting us. We use transport encryption, one-way credential hashes, encrypted Worker secrets, and access controls, but no storage system can guarantee absolute security.

Children and legal use

Custody Calendar is a tool for parents and guardians and is not directed to children. The app does not provide legal advice and does not claim that an export is court-approved or admissible. Adults should use nicknames or initials where practical and share records only with people they trust.

Service providers and legal disclosures

Apple provides the App Store, StoreKit, CloudKit, notifications, calendar, and optional diagnostics. Cloudflare hosts the household entitlement service. We may disclose limited information when required by law, to protect users or the service, or as part of a business transaction subject to appropriate safeguards.
